Our experience includes the design of new and existing correctional and detention facilities. Projects include courthouses, police facilities, jails and prisons.
Vacaville, California
This project consisted of a new 64 Bed combination of Intermediate Care Facility/ Mental Health Facility Housing and Treatment Areas, covering 32,000 square feet and Administration, Food and Support Services Areas covering 22,000 square feet. Although this facility does not require operating under health services license this building was designed to California’s OSHPD (Office Statewide Health Planning Development) requirements for future licensing consideration. The project is being designed as a LEED Silver, Occupancy I-1.1/I-3. The project is attempting to become one of the first correctional facilities to become LEED Silver in this Department.
