The 5-acre project is made up of two- and three-story townhouses which contain 74 family homes ranging from studios to four bedrooms, and a four-story mixed-use building which holds 56 units ranging from studios to two-bedroom units. This low income housing project in North Portland has been designed to obtain U.S. Green Buildings Council LEED NC 2.2 Silver certification.
CB Engineers are provided fundamental commissioning services for the HVAC, plumbing, and lighting controls systems. Commissioning services include design and construction phases.
Humboldt Gardens has been awarded the 2009 City of Portland BEST (Businesses for an Environmentally Sustainable Tomorrow) Award for Green Building – New Construction/Major Renovation.
