CBE Awarded San Francisco Central Subway Station

Teamed with Parsons Brinckerhoff and Kwan Henmi Architects, CB Engineers has been awarded the mechanical design of the New Chinatown Central Subway Station. This exciting project consists of approximately 1.75 miles of surface/subsurface extension of the MUNI light rail system, continuing from the Initial Operating Segment north of King Street.
CB Engineers will be designing the HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Air Breathing systems for this project.
"The Central Subway Project will provide rail service to the Financial Dstirct and Chinatown, which are the most densely developed areas of San Francisco. The new 1.75 mile light rail line will serve regionals destinations, such as Union Square, Moscone Convention Center, Yerba Buena, and AT&T Park, as well as connect directly to BART and Caltrain, the Bay Area's two largest regional-commuter rail services."
