Located at 1550 Mission Street, the newly opened Fifteen Fifty building is a 39-story mixed‐use project located in the burgeoning mid-Market neighborhood. The project consists of a residential component (550 units), a podium, and a separate 465,000 square foot office building that now houses the San Francisco Public Works, Planning, and Building Inspection Departments.
The office building HVAC System consists of a central cooling plant located on the roof’s mechanical penthouse. The residential tower is served by a water source heat pump system.
Also notable is that Fifteen Fifty is now home to the first approved and operational greywater reuse system in San Francisco history, where a 7,500 gallon per day system provides highly purified reclaimed water for toilet and urinal flushing. The system is operated and maintained by CB Engineers affiliate Epic Cleantec.
